Who we are

What data we collect

Newsletter subscriptions

If you sign up for our newsletter, we store your email address and (optionally) your name. This data is used solely to send you news about Arcade Môn. We will never share it with third parties or use it for any other purpose.

Site analytics — our own system

We record which pages are visited and the domain of any website that referred you here (e.g. google.com). We do not store your IP address, browser fingerprint, or any personal identifier — only an anonymised daily hash (computed with a private key, not reversible) to estimate unique visitor counts. No cookies are used for this system.

Google Analytics (consent-based)

If you click Accept all on the cookie banner, Google Analytics is loaded. Google Analytics uses cookies to distinguish users and sessions and sends anonymised usage data to Google. See Google's Privacy Policy for details. You can withdraw consent at any time by clearing your browser's local storage or clicking "Necessary only" if the banner reappears after clearing cookies.

Your rights under UK GDPR

• Unsubscribe Use the unsubscribe link in any newsletter email, or email us and we'll remove you immediately.
• Access Email us to request a summary of any personal data we hold about you.
• Deletion Use our data deletion form to have your data removed immediately and permanently.
• Withdraw consent To stop Google Analytics cookies, clear your browser's local storage for this site. Our cookieless analytics will continue as it does not use personal data.
• Complain You have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).

Cookies

We use no essential cookies. The only cookies set are Google Analytics cookies, and these are only placed if you explicitly accept them via the banner. Your choice is stored in your browser's localStorage (not a cookie), so it is never sent to our server.

Data retention

Newsletter subscriber data is held until you unsubscribe or request deletion. Anonymised analytics data (page views) is retained indefinitely as it contains no personal information.
